The knowledge area of Mechanical Engineering is composed of members of the Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Construction Department (EMCI).

Our research activity, carried out in the Analysis and Advanced Materials for the Structural Design (AMADE) research group, focuses on composite materials study and design, numerical simulation of mechanical behaviour and machine design.
